Breastcollars

Breastcollar doesn't work to hold saddle on the right place of horse's back only, but it is very important aesthetic accessory. Often, it is made for comission as a saddle.

Breastcollar can have a lot of forms. From thiner, slight ones for speed disciplines or for reining saddle through classic type, lightly bowed medium size to husky and massive reastcollar used for working, cowhorse and roping saddles. The most of breastcollars has „Y“ form, where right and left arms go from the center of horse's chest to D-ring in front part of saddle and conecting belt goes from the chest center to front breastcollar and it is joint between front legs by snap ring (carbine).

There are breastcollars without down conectiong belt (between breastcollar and cinch). They have cut of straight or lightly defected leather strip. Complex form „U“ breastcollars are often used for ranch saddles, mainly for wade saddles. In case, breastcollar is made as accessory for custom saddle, it is made in the same tooling, colour, and finishing (oiling, varnishing) as a saddle. If a saddle is tooled by silver conchers or silver plates, breastcollar tooled same way is recomend. Another advantage of getting saddle and breastcollar in the same time is same colour because saddle and breastcollar will get same natural patina in the same time.

Back cinch

cinches

Rider dosen't need back cinch all the time. It works to fixate back part of saddle, mainly while roping it is necessary part of riding equiment. It is belt to back cinch billets to saddle, which are fixed on back D-ring or in cut in main skirt. Back cinch belts can be fixed on the left side, (for example at roping saddles) or removable (this is recomend for scamp, work with stock).

Back cinch is usually 3'' – 4'' (7,5 – 10 cm) wide, but it can have up to 6''( inches). Than it is produced deflected to go according horse belly. Usually, back cinch is produced with saddle and it is common to tool it little bit. Back cinch has to have conecting strap to join front and back cinches. Conecting of the both cinches are important to stop displacement to horse flanks.

Bags

bags

If rider needs to take some things with himself, the best way is to put the things to saddle bags. They can be in small and big sizes. Big one is able to carry sleeping bag. Saddle bags are often made with the saddle in the same time. Then they are in the same decorating.

Bags are fixed by the help of saddle strings, which go from conch behalf cantle. Saddle strings are put throuhg holes in saddle bags and if you don't carry anything else, you bind saddle strips together and bags keep on their place. If you have jucket or coat by yourself, you can bind it up by strips (put through the saddle bags) and everything hold on tight on the saddle. If you don't buy bags and saddle together at the same time, the bags don't have saddle strip holes, because of each saddle has conches with strips on little different place. It's on rider to make bag holes after putting on the saddle and fiding where the holes are supposed to be.
